Rich,
I only have three landings on it so it could be me. Also I was cutting the throttle up high and making a steep descending turn to final. It didn't seem like it picked up a lot of speed but apparently it did. I have a little down trim dialed in for full flap that I'll also take out. I ran the engine yesterday just to confirm the idle on the 210 and it was normal.
I used the CG machine yesterday to compare the hung CG. There was 1 mm difference and the plane weighs 37.48lbs.
Yes, I'll be at Titusville. I'll see if Gary or Rich want to go too.
Tom,
My struts were sticking because the screws at the knee were too tight. They are smooth now.

I plan to be there Saturday morning. Be carful with those screws in the knee action part of the strut, mine were loose and actually fell out during transprort. I loctighted them just short of bottoming out so that the knee works but the screws can't back out and fall off

Couldn't make it to Titusville but I did manage to get three more flights and six landings on the Dolphin late Saturday afternoon at the Nighthawks.
I tried landing with no down trim but in the end I set the trim right back where it started (down trim). The plane just seems happier at this setting. Of course there was a nice headwind so I'll still be experimenting with the settings.

Sweet jets guys! Hope to get some more flights on mine this weekend. It's a tough flight at our field. Several no overfly areas so I have to keep it moving, at the 170ish its flying I have at most 2-3 seconds before a turn. But.....I have lots of vertical to pay with . I dont take mine apart as I have a large trailer but it is still a bear to handle due to it's size.

Ok guys, here is something to be aware of. My pvc cradle's front crossbar (foam covered) is just in front of nose gear. As you can see it cracked the airex on both sides. I repaired it with 1.5" cf strips with CA to make a rock hard opening for the gear. I also trashed the cradle and made an 8" deep foam bed with the cutout of the fuselage. The bottom 4" is solid foam and the cutout is the top 4" Foam will be placed over the hold down straps. I havent put a scratch on the plane flying it but I am beating it to death doing stupid stuff like the pvc cradle I made at first.
