How the heck do you move that thing around, or do you just drive it into your trailer. The 1/6th is fun to move around.

You missed the centerline by 1/4 of a inch. What's that about.

So would you guys stick with the 140 or use something bigger and de-rate it?

Thinking of the Jets-Munt 140 or 200. 2.9 vs 3.2 lbs. Thoughts?

Have not flown mine yet so I can't say but I bet it would also matter if you are flying clean wing ie Thunderbird style or loaded for bear, military style.
Just used my Xicoy balancer and with the Pegasus HP it weighs in at 33 less fuel. Also your altitude you will be flying at may effect your decision, we are at 3000+

Looking good!! Ready for your first flight reports!

Need to swap ordnance on rails 1 and 9 with 2 and 8!

Clean wings at sea level the 140 is plenty. With ordnance 160 - 180.

I have a derated K210G in mine .... turned down to 180-190 power. I fly 160 - 170 mph which makes it look pretty scale. I only push the left stick all the way up on takeoff and verticals.

Is yours clean? I plan on TBird with smoke. I live at sea level in a hot climate now, but never know where I'll live next.

How much did you turn down the RPM to get it the derating?

Will I get longer flights and better reliability with the 200?

Decisions decisions....

No ... I fly mostly full ordnance. I'm in hot/humid climate but near sea level. I'll have to look, but I *think* I set to max rpm of 118k??

If I were doing another one this size with clean wings I would go with the new K160G with new ECU.

Hmm. Merlin 200 gets 10 more pounds of thrust out of 10,000 less RPM for the same weight and lower fuel flow... decisions

That's a double secret mission set up that only Montana guard units had.

But its a $500 cost increase compared to a K160 that has auto restart and will continue to run in case of temp probe failure.

Kelly a new K80 will be released very soon that is the size of the K60. Its very small and light and is just about done with testing and will be released shortly. It will have the new ECU and pump with auto restart.
