Hi

I finnaly made an opening canopy for my Yak. This is not an easy task. The canopy is huge. I am using a servo to open close and 2 for locking up.

I had to made a wood structure to stiffen the canopy and make a GF plate in the forward section to stiffen it laterally.

There are 2 steel pins to guide the canopyins a small carbon plate.

Also found that a fuel tank cracked. I already send an email to JL. let's see what they say. I may maiden it during the year..

Would like to know the elevator neutral point, please. Can someone point it out?

BR

Could this tank be a problem since it looks like it is rupturing (vide red arrows).

There is an aluminium ring, supplied with the Jetlegend tank fittings, that needs to be fitted to prevent the tank splitting when inserting the bung.

Don't forget Nuno!

I may be wrong but it looks like that the tank is already split at the neck.

Carlos, I will let you know about the tanks. If you make tanks for this bird , they have to have the same mesurement to fit in. I am not that happy with these tanks...
Jan to my knowledge there are no people flying jets in Algarve. Are you coming on holidays?
