Hi Ray.. I did not know about the optical RPM sensor... and I think that would complicate things. Gasper(xicoy) has said that he has done P-80's in the past.. but those I believe where the older version.

To be honest... there are thousands!! of P-80se's out there, and with that there are hundreds that have found the grave yard.. Best to place an add here on RCU and RC..Groups asking for an ECU. It would be much easier.

Hi all,
I hope this thread is still active as i found it to be great to follow Trevors (Vettster) epic journey ,Modifying his P60 to run with Gaspers Xicoy V10 ecu,
Following the information found here i have successfully converted a TJT 3000 turbine with very low hours on it,
I now want to convert a JetCat P120 using the Xicoy V10,
Can FELIX BARRAO who has done this successfully please inform me what his settings for the Xicoy were
The main reason i prefer to use the Xicoy ecu are,
I use the Jetti 16DS radio and the telemetry outputs from the V10 to the 16DS is amazing,

Hey guys I have a xicoy v1p fadec and the starter , glow plug , fuel and he valve doesn't work only the pump function works. But when I test them externally they work. Is there a way to reset the fadec?

try the "test plug" and "test starter: functions - if they dont work then, the ECU is damaged.

They don't work only the pump circuit works. Am doing a project here building my own turbines and in the process of making a helicopter turbine like jetcat pht3 , am using their frames tho. Am using a 74mm compressor wheel and 70mm turbine wheel. So I plan on using an xicoy v10 eeach project is 95 percent complete pics coming soon expected 40 pound's thrust but will limit it through the fadec. Is there anyone willing to release a used v10 fadec.

Hello guys I found what was the problem I opened up the ecu and low and behold there was a burnt stip on the board I soldered it together and everything works. Now it's set to kerostart and it has a feature to change to gas start which I want to use but some of the parameters are locked due to my friend bought it from kingtech. It's and AU -108K WOULd the limited settings in auto start work for me? Please help I don't have access to some features like pump voltage and starter rpm and others , only can adjust a few items

Do anyone know how to access the hidden menu on the kerostart xicoy v10 fadec. I want to use auto gas start on the fadec instead of the kerostart but some of the parameters are locked or missing I cannot access the pump parameters and starter rpm , ramp and others please tell me how to access it.

Sorry to bring an old thead back to life, but im trying to increase MAX RPM on my Xicoy AU-108K. its curently limited to 124.000 and i need it at 160.000.
does anyone know which parameter in the service menu opens the top RPM limit?
was told paramete 048 but my service menu only goes up to 031.
any ideas?

It sounds like you have a manufacturer branded ECU. There is no way to unlock this at least not you or I. You can perhaps send to Xicoy but contact them before doing this. if you elect to purchase a new one direct from Xicoy there won't be any set limit.
