A nice birthday party in a r/c club in Joinville, Brazil.
Hello all ! Last weekend I had the privilege to attend a birthday party from my friend Augusto and his family, and think that many friends here will enjoy the pictures I took between the flights. I think that this place is one of the nicest r/c clubs I ever visited, and the variety and quality of the models there where outstanding.
This wasn´t a jet event at all.. most of the planes where jets, but there where friends with giant, exquisite prop jobs that flew among the jets without any worries or competition as everybody here where long time friends. I only flew my plane twice the afternoon I attended due I was watching my friends fly, not to mention the chat, ideas exchange, helping up a friend setting a plane, etc.. anyway I had a great time there just one week after visiting another great place in Brazil.
I think that I am getting spoiled with such good company and watching so many nice planes flying. Hope you guys enjoy the pics as much I did being there!

more pics: A neat idea from Augusto and his father, is a air and electricity support unit. With it they can cool a fuselage jet, fill the air with retracts. do a quick charge in the batts, carry the fire extinguishers,etc.. and while not in use looks almost like a cabinet, done by themselfs with nice woodworking skills.. this people is gifted in their craftmanship, as most of the nice things in this place where built by thenselves.

Don´t know for sure if there is a problem with rcu.. let me know guys if you can see some of the last pictures correctly, so I can keep uploading them..
- never mind, I fixed the problem and it was my fault...
more pics: This is a jetlegend F-16 1/6 scale with a P200.. the plane seems happy with this engine and all the tanks and missiles.

I flew my old Skymaster F-18 again there.. did some scale detailing lately, including the cockpit, graphics and landing gear.. for some reason people started to take great pics from it, and it really is quite pretty. For me still is most of the time a blue blurr I fly, LOL.
The second pic is taxiing back to pitts after landing, catched by Fabio from the Hangar3D site.

Well, and after all those flights , a traditional barbecue in the best "gaucho" way.. but with a tent and a wooden deck! never saw something like this anywhere and it is very cool.. and all this with a traditional concertina player friend.. also Augusto´s hangar is outstanding, After flying the planes there is a rope and ratchet system that lift their planes in the ceiling, leaving a lot of free space in where is a pool table, a big tv, a kitchen and a sofa..this is probably the best family-friendly r/c mancave ever done! :-)
Well, that´s it.. is amazing to see what people can do when they apply their skills to it.. I am sure that there are nice places like this one hidden in private property all around the world, but this place even if some of it is private property, still is a r/c club in wich anyone can join in, and that turns this place in a very special one.. thanks Augusto and Marcos for the great meeting there, and already looking forward for next year, also hope that my friends here enjoyed the pics.
