I guess the huge puddle underneath says...no. Tank burst I think

Brilliant day as always. More shortly, going home first!

First dinner this week after another UF epic build, Classic Jets 60 was dedicated to Pete Nye and the guys were wearing T shirts to mark the occasion, we all got stickers too.
We were fed and watered by the Spreadbury family (Big thanks to Dick's sis who looked after me )The team Dick has assembled run the lines like a well oiled machine and a big thank you must go out to these flyers, who give up a day. Geoff, Animal and Little Geoff ran the failsafe tests, airframe checking and flight line. Big up you all.
I arrived with just 5 models, two to hand over and do test flights. Great day, excellent weather after the light shower first thing, the right runway for the wind direction, it was a great day, pity so many of the M&R gang missed breakfast and a great days flying.

Few shots, too busy sorting peoples aeroplanes and no Paul to shoot shots for us :-(
Buggz snatched my camera to catch me with the legend Capt Perkins, straightest talking guy I know, picks out a wrong-un instantly, best ex wife line ever too!

Dw

Two test flights on M&R builds, plus two more flights on Leon's scratch built EDF Concord, even Ali was impressed. We had everything working for these flights, nose droop and a rudder!

Just to say a big thank you to Dick and his team, great day, great food, and of course great weather.

Great day yesterday...thanks to all who made it work! Lots of models of the meet for me but just tipping it had to be the ME 262...smooth flying and even a little squeak from the tyres as Ali touched it down...it don't get much better than that!

Had the usual de-brief in the Black Horse after the event...the de-brief was good (as usual!) but the service in the pub was sh1te. I put £80+ in their till only to have food delivered late and tepid plus the privilege of some dildo masquerading as a waiter spilling custard all over me. The Black Horse is history...Dog House, here we come!

Cheers,

Dick

I had a fantastic day yesterday! Lots of flying, lots banter and brilliant company. I know it takes a lot of people and a lot of effort to make these days this good so thank you to everyone who makes it happen. I was a bit gutted to leave the pub early but Dick, now it sounds like I ran away at just the right time before any food showed up

Great day as every one has said, thanks for your help Dave ( again) lol and thanks to the birthday boy Stevie.
And thanks to Dick and all his helpers.
About time we had a photo of you especially with Perkins ( Bloody nice chap) he really enjoyed himself. Tried to persuade him to get one of the Excaliburs as we were sitting in traffic on the way home, he was thinking about it.

Dave

Was good to see the old boy, least you had entertainment on the way home! Was happy to sub your test flight to birthday boy "Little Stevie" while I was busy with another. Ultra Flash again the most popular sports jet, Jamie must have been crying all the way home-he's shown no taste with his latest venture, so adds up
Might break out my Orange scheme kit soon :-))
