Tom he just called Charles. It cost him a little over $1000 to ship both kits over but hey that is no different then skymaster or jetlegend I guess. Takes them about a month or so to build a new kit.

If that's $1000 per crate, be it one kit or 10, then people could team up with some group buys and split it. Just a thought.

Not exactly

Just spoke with Charles to order parts for something else, and I asked about shipping kits. It would be about a $1000 per F-18 twin to ship. He mentioned it about $750 per F-22 to Tennessee, then he would have to pay broker fees on top of that. Obviously I don't know what it actually cost, but that's what Charles said it cost

A larger group shipment would only save around %5. As much as I would love to build one of these, there are no good flying sites around here for stuff like that anyways

Shawn,

I bought a DF Starfire a few years ago and wanting to convert it to a turbine. Is there a pipe that is best suited to the Starfire? I'll be using a P80 SE

Hank if you cant get Shaun on the phone then give Charles the owner of yellow aircraft a call. He has allot of stuff for the twin in stock and if he does not he can still get it for you. Yellow Aircraft (781)935-9868

I sent Shaun a pm on here and an email to his website on Jan 25 wanting to order accessories for my P-40. I didn't hear back from him so, I ordered the parts direct from Charles last week. I don't think Shaun even read the PM so, I hope he's ok. I know he had some health issues in the past.

Thanks for the hint on Charles. I'm international though (currently switzerland), so anyone with an email contact? Prefer to write, it's easier on my mobile bill
Cheers

Just noticed this and am sad to hear YA will be gone. I guess I need to get my '90s vintage F-16 flying. Do you have any missile, pylon, or external tank kits left?

I just also got the info that bussiness is shutting down and some parts are already no longer available (i'm desperately looking for a canopy frame for a twin hornet which is no longer stocked )
Does anyone know where the molds will go? It'd be a shame to see those planes disappear completely.....not talking about spare parts.

I just cannot understand how tooling can be left to die when there's money chasing it . We've seen the loss of soooooo many
perfectly good airframes . It's rediculous and frankly discouraging .

Thomas,
any developments on the f-18 twin wheel front? Interested in a set or two when the design/materials are finalized.

Slowly getting there. I've got the design finalized, just gotta order the CNC'd aluminum molds after I add some lettering to them...
