How to change Jet Cat Turbine ECU From One Turbine To another???
I just bought a Jet Cat ECU set for a Titan 160 from the Internet and I need to set it to a Jet Cat P-120. Does anyone know how to do this without sending it back to Jet Cat??
Thanks

You should just plug it into the engine and power it up. Usually, the ECU will read what engine it is attached to and make the switch. If you have the GSU plugged in, you can watch it happen on the screen. Note, this is equivalent to a hard reset. Data from the previous engine is zeroed and you may have to go in and set some preferences like units, throttle response, single channel, etc.
If this doesn't work, then you can call JetCat and they will walk you thru changing it. The ECU has the settings in it for all engines as of the version of firmware installed.

That is only if the motor is a se or sx. The older versions need to be told thru the ecu what type motor it is.

Yeah,,, been in communication with jetcat for a few days John Redman is the only one who can do it or walk you through it but he is away... based on what I have seen its probably a combination of secret key press and holds.

I was having the same problem and I got in touch with Jet Cat. Here is the information they gave me:
While holding down the Min/Max button on the GSU, power up the ECU.
Release the Min/Max button when Key 1 shows on the GSU.
Scroll down using the - button until your turbine shows up on the GSU.
As soon as your turbine shows up on the GSU, press the Manual button.
Hold down the Manual & Ignition button. Turn off the ECU.
Release the Manual & Ignition.
Power up the ECU and your turbine should show up on the GSU.
If this won't work for you, then you will have to get in touch with jet Cat.

Thanks instructor,
I did get in touch with jetcat, your instructions are very clowe, however, there was 1 thing that needs to be done and that is the "KEY" this is a number that needs to be entered when the prompt shows key1. Jetcat gave me the number over the phone, but I do not think they want this to be public so I will not do so. Basically yes, you need to call jet cat and they can guide you through the process.
Jetcat support very good!
