RC Pilot Logs App for Free
Hi All, I want to design an APP for myself and a few pilots so we can log our flights, take pictures of our jets, report and log problems for future services. I would like your opinions and suggestions, so I can send the correct specifications to the programmers to do this app. I did a search on APPLE store, and found one, but it's not quite complete. Let me know what you think?
I think it would be cool that we can use our mobile phone to set flight time, log the actual flights, take pictures of the flights, even having a notification module to tell our flying buddies my next field day. We can easily stay compliance with AMA waiver and also keep a track record of the jets that we can give to the next owner when we decided to sell our jets.
Thanks,
Mike

I have seen a few of these for logging your flight time with aircraft, pretty handy for folks like me who some days fly several flights in different aircraft. I like the idea!

Android or Apple based app
Have a way to send it to email so that a hard copy could be printed
Any data that people might record from their ECU
Location of flying site
Just some thoughts

Several Android versions exist for both full size and RC. May not have everything you need. This one might be close.

I find the log book as the most important part of my hobby. Currently 30 flying models in my fleet, with out the log book I would be totally lost. 18 month ago had 50 models, and it was getting somewhat out of hand so I had big garage sale to offload some. I log each fight in separate ex. book, recording date, place of flight, flight duration, wind strength from 1-10, (perfect to 22.5km/h, anything over I find unenjoyable), further I record all the maintenance to each model and the last date of batt. charging. Easy way to keep the track. J.
