In terms of service, however, dreamworks they are the only ones with a balancer for Jets Munt, so your best bet would be to go through them; I would not buy anything from ultimate jets and expect local service untill they have a full service center with a balancer, because they are going to have to ship it to Europe to get it fixed and you will have to pay the shipping bill.

For non balancing needs ultimate jets is good, they helped me with my ECU failry quickly in got it running back for my Behotec 180 Gold.
Discontinued due to production factory burning down.... But of course, Disco's version always sounds better

You have burned plenty of other people, your fail-safe doesn't work properly and is glitchy, In fact the new version is also gltichy http://www.dreamworksrc.com/catalog/...tion-Sequencer and has the same problem that's the one that has a bulit-in sequencer, will not work with regular servos and or jet tronics or any other sequencer like JMP, RC Bee

I have 3 of your units 1 NIB my crap luck I waited a year to test them to find out this BS; also your tutorial to fix is horse puckey:
http://www.dreamworksrc.com/catalog/...mming-Addendum

So anyone with a GSF-150 is screwed, no refunds, no returns, no fix. Dreamworks RC way.

Glad you think that way, I have people pm me that had to file legal threats against you get there money back, you probably think that's bs too, go ahead message one of the mods they can look in my Pm box. Sadly with dreamworks, only way to get anything resolved is to file a charge back. Too late for me, but most other people just say the heck with it and the loss.

LOL.... by all means, lets have a look since your statement is a complete fabrication. Outside the completely unreasonable customer of course.... We have one or two of those a year
This thread is about an amazing quality engine, not about YOU Disco....

DiscoWings,

Have some respect in this thread! Take your immature and rude comments and post them on another thread created by you if you wish. I promise I'll keep you busy in your own thread.
You've expressed your point very unprofessionally towards Ultimate Jets and Dreamworks. We get your hint!!!!!! Since you cant stay on topic, move on about your business bradah!!!!!!
If you have some class it won't be very difficult for you to do.............................

We have members who are trying to use this thread to gather information on the VT-80. We'd like to go ahead and continue updating this thread.
Just let us know when you’re done so we can move on about answering some questions to the interested members.

All RCU members, I apologize for this kid interfering with this thread.
If you have any questions please feel free to pm them to Olnico or myself.

Thank you

All my deals with DreamWorks have been EXCELLENT, that's why I
don't listen to those type of comments. I also think Olnico is a very straight forward
person although no deals yet with his company.

Ok , guys I think this thread is about the Jets Munt VT-80BL not what is being thrown around. I would like to hear of any first hand experience on this turbine and how the Brushless pump is working out. Anyone that want to people or business bash , start another thread, not here . Thanks

Price will come down but don't think you will see the price match dollar for dollar. Do the current math add shipping and US import fees and you are in the ball park now.

I think the biggest problem it's the European VAT charges witch to my understanding it's not totally legal to charge VAT for client out of the European Union if you buy a brand new vehicle in the ford deler and the title are made out of country there is no sales tax or other taxes add to the sale recite .

European VAT fees are only charge on items sold over there. Quit often you seen them now quote a VAT free price and a price with VAT included. Shipping charges are fairly high to NA and then there is service when required. Your turbine in this case is would have to be sent back for service so one has to look at the big picture. You could get a price shipped to you and then check on your import duties and see if it is worth it. Probably not a big saving.

1400 EU (for the VT 80BL)converts to $1671 usd plus shipping plus import taxes.....Don't think you are saving much.

All Jets Munt engines are amazing and the Xicoy ECU and telemetry are the best in the current market..

euro is now 1.15, shipping will be about 80.00 so total shipped to usa would be 1700.00 total... thats $250 cheaper; I think it would be worth it besides these thing don't need service all that much, usually when things go wrong its out of warranty anyway.

Disco... All you said I agree with except that as of Friday (1/23) euro closed at 1.12.... and shipping for VT80BL is 38 euro... since it doesn't come with an ECU battery.. (lighter box)...
