Pity about the first one, it must be one of your favorite planes if you decided to build another. Ad-least you were able to build the second one quicker, just 19 min .... truly remarkable

Man what a great build video! I will try and do better on my next one, that wide aspect lens seems to help a lot. I like the assembly of the gear in time laps very cool, need to learn how to do that since its perfect to show someone perfect assemble of items!

Excellent!! Well done on all accounts! Going to have to do some googling on the artist oil's weathering technique, have always used chalks, interested in finding more about the oil technique.. looks great!

Sean,
All I can say is WOW!!! That is a great video to show how much time and effort is put into a true build. Your skills are off the hook and you truly built a world class plane. I can't wait to see it fly at Jets over Kentucky.

Sean, really great video. So sorry I couldn't make it up from the shore last summer...planning now to get there. I have to say the flying presentation proves to me that scale lighting (not just AB rings) really brings a model to life....I'll be putting them on my next project.
See you next summer!

Just when building gets a little bogged down along comes a video like this for inspiration!
Thanks Sean for going to all the trouble to make the vid, congratulations on a job well done!
Thanks Woj for posting it.

It's not often I'll sit through a twenty-minute video... But the F-104 is one of my favorite jets so I thought I'd watch the first couple of minutes. Got hooked immediately! It's not just a great model-build video - it's a great video, period! Love the vid, love the plane. Liked the white board layout trick, will have to try that...
Big thumbs up, Sean! Thanks for taking the time to make the vid and sharing it with the world.

Thanks guys! I'm amazed that the clip is nearing 11,000 views in a week. Maybe there are more people interested in building than I thought, hope that's the case!
Tuomas, that is your used gear. Been repaired and is working well.
Dave, for this size model all the colored paint was sprayed using my dual action airbrush. The clear I used a 2-part spray in a rattle can. Works great. For the large A-10 I would think the Sata mini jet would work really well, it's a great gun. I'd love to weather an A-10 one day, just seems begging for a well used finish!
thanks for the interest guys!
