Default Yellow aircraft f-14 biuld

Well I've finally started my YA Tomcat Build. I have everything except the wing Pivot Blocks.. I'm busily trying to get some drawings for them or a set.. Any how I have started doing some of the build in the areas which they are not required..

Hi guys,

good to see there are still yellow kittys around. I have a friend who has the fuselage of one and wants to build the wings himself. Does anyone have the airfoils or templates for these? Any help is appreciated.

Best regards
Hank

How sad they stopped making the kit. Now they make nothing they import other than parts.

They sold out of kits as soon as Shawn put up a post that they were no longer going to import kits in just a week or so. I still am holding out hope that someone gets the rights to the kits and starts importing them again because they were halfway between old style kits and ARC's. I am still kicking myself for selling my F-18 single, but do have a F-16, F-15, A-4 and twin F-18 in the shop inventory. One of my buddies picked up a Starfire and F-18 single we are going to pull molds off before we build them down the road.

I think I know where to locate a complete F-14 kit, PM me if you're interested.

They were really good kits. Saw Fio fly his on twin Dynamax a couple of times. So awesome! Still remember the Yellow vs BVM days!!

I'd love to have a Ya F14 but every complete kit i have seen has been listed at a asking price at nearly what skymaster and FEJ wants for theirs. Now im not saying they arent worth it as i believe these complete kits were around $10k when they were available, they just require the right person.

Personally i think now a days, a ARF in 1/10 for twin 90/100mm fans or a 1/9 for 120mm fans and/or P60's would sell well if they could be priced around $5k

Here's a few of my Yellow F-14. Powered by two Jetcat P-70's.

I've got 6 flights on it. Always have sweaty palms because it's so pretty and I don't want to break it! Dinged it up a little at Best in the West on a bounced landing.

I'd be glad to share control surface settings and CG when anyone is ready to fly!

Happy Flying,

Steve K

Found the last parts I need today.. The wing pivot blocks.. For anyone chasing parts I'm happy to help out with drawings or replicating parts from my kit..

I have three sets of wings and have started making templates up for the important formers etc..

Bought all the possible parts I could buy at the time mate.. As they are very rare as you know.. What parts do you need? Give me some time and I'll replicate formers etc for you.
