This is my Eurosport what is converted to Eurofighter.
It has G-booster 160+ producing about 17,5kg of thrust. Great plane to fly !

Installing the Gears, I noticed the gear bearers don't really look thick enough, about 1/8 inch. I also noticed there is a doubler to this set back a little, but the holes for my gear(intairco/prolink) go half thru the doubler and not.
I was thinking of cutting some carbon fibre plate. 3mm thick and hysoling on top of the bearers to add strength.
Blokes with experience on this jet, from your flights are the bearers on the mains strong enough? Am I wasting my time if I do this? I fly from well prepared grass.
Cheers
Matt

I have done no mods to mains at all, dropped in Electron ER50's old version.
Did however strengthen the nose gear area. placed another plate of g10 over the area and hysoled. I am however been known at times to be heavy on the nose gear. I believe this to be the weakest area in my opinion.

All the scale accents are so nice but why so expensive ? The not made with some super expensive method the should cost about $50 for the total set you will sale more and make more money , there not to many people to pay close $300 for ,just my opinion Wojtek why the don't sale it's a total set with side panels and the pilot seat just some separate pices ?

Because im not doing this as a business any more, and am not doing any work besides for myself for anyone. Shapeways allows others who want these parts to get them without my involvement, and not having to print and prepare items myself. I'll never get what my time is worth out of these anyway, so they are marked up quite low actually, and at what its worth for me to post them. Some cheap materials cost are reasonable, whole others like the detailed resins are quite high for material alone. If someone wants it, its there, if its too much, its no difference to me. Don't forget that the last cockpit kit for the Euro was over $600 .. and guys complained about that too .. they will complain about price of servos, turbines etc ,, Anyone can always design parts themselves also. There are many free 3d design packages, and shape ways does have some lower cost materials that are not too expensive also. Even some of the lower quality FDM printers can be had for under $1k, but you do get what you pay for
As I make parts for my own models, i can choose to open access via shape ways, but i would not just give designs away.

Has anyone else, other than number27, reinforced the nosegear area? Does it need it? I will be flying from grass.
Has anyone had any problems with the 2 pin and 2 hatch latch method of securing the engine hatch on the later versions? Is it ok as per the instructions or does it need additional securing points?
Does it need any other reinforcement for bigger engines (I will most likely be using a Merlin 200)?
Does anyone have any top tips for fitting the Intairco intakes?
Thanks,

I can't comment on your first two questions as I haven't flown mine as yet, however with the Intairco tanks the supplied front former is way out of shape to suit the fuselage, I ended up making new ones that would follow the curvature of the interior better, I also used some adhesive backed Velcro along the side of the tanks where they contacted to fuselage and attached them with zip fasteners, appears to be pretty secure.

I just acquired a Eurosport in trade, its the one that Chris Nicastro showed above... Its a ways down the line on projects, but the work that was done on it was first rate! I had a Euro 6-8 years ago, I can't believe this is the same kit. Looking forward to starting on it. Here is the scheme I will use
