Default Even Electrics need Fire extinguisher

Taxied out went to full power then maximum smoke followewd by Flames.... Fire was put out with a water based extinguisher

Wow, so sorry!

Can you tell what let go? Was it the ESC, battery, motor?

Hate to see one burn down. All the white smoke/steam on the last few shots was probably from the residual LiPo fire and water. Probably burned the asphalt a bit too.

Looks like a classic LiPo fire. But if a LiPo flashed first, typically a short would have caused it to flash and it would have been a lot more light smoke from the get go. But both my LiPo fires resulted in a lot of light smoke. Kind of depends on what was in contact with the LiPo too.

I had an ESC go on a Beaver once and it was black smoke right off the bat as it burned thru the fuse. Fortunately, I got to it and put it out before the LiPo battery flashed. But that ESC melted thru to the point it was on the ground hanging from the wires.

Sorry Joe-Looks like a ESC more than the lipo S
