i have to disagree to a point. from what i read , you can only use words that the android software recognizes thus .. the dictionary. if you have a better understanding of the voice and setup, please helps us out. i made a generic video for the JR techs . i'm having a heck of a time getting all the voices to work. it's crude but i'm trying to explain myself the best i can :-)

Big fan of my 28x and have found it easy to use after having the 12x for many models. One thing that I have come across recently during a range test of my latest project A Paritech Natrix is that when you activate the range check mode it will momentarily go off the air enough to cause a shut down of the turbine. It can be overcome by selecting range check mode, firing up the turbine then walking your 40 paces. Has anyone else had a similar experience ?

That is correct . Failing that you can set turbine failsafe to idle rather than shut off for a range check. However I still see it as nuisance. Using the power box Royal it will show as a hold during the range check.

Okay team, who has worked out the Gear Control on this radio. I wish to open a door and drop the gear, but all I seem to see is both items happening at the same time. I would like to open the door and then 4 seconds later drop the gear and then the same in reverse of course. I am using Gear-1 and Gear-1-C1 on seperate channels, so that's sorted, but when I set the delay it seems to slow the servos down, which isn't what I am after. Any help.

I just receive mine, Im recuperating after a knee surgery and I have lots time playing with the radio i will NOT regret this purchase . A very good deal from RC Japan , excellent company.
I need help , I was making a selection of icons/app to be easy to find and by inadvertance ( stupidity) I deleted BIND AND RANGE App . Now when I press on this Icon : app is not install...?? please help.
For music I load a USB key with iTunes songs from my library ( the sd card is in in the radio) but if I remove the key they are all gone??

I just finished updating my radio. I struggled with the update. I tried downloading from the JR site on my laptop and transferring the update to the sd card. Didn't work even after unzipping the file and putting it in the jr folder. I read the instructions literally and created a [JR] folder but no luck.
I noticed there was a version 2 update and went ahead and downloaded that directly from the radio's browser. It created another JR folder so I had two on my SD card. I went back to my laptop and cleaned up the folders on the card so I had the new update in the JR folder, which also contained all my backup models.
I put the sd card back in the radio and tried to update and still didn't work. I took a look at the folder structure via the radio OI File Manager and noticed it was still seeing two JR folders. I decided to power off the radio, unplug the battery and plug it back in. I powered on and when directly to the system settings to update the software and it worked. This version of software required a firmware update as well.

G’day Alan,
We are sorry to delay this update.
We discovered some computer systems decompressed the update file to a different file extension, which then did not work with the 28X.
Our engineer is developing a new data file format, which we are testing at the factory. So far the results have been positive, so I believe we should be able to release the update shortly.
We are sorry to cause you problem and appreciate your kind patience.
Cheers,
Looks like the update needs an update lol.
