Just my 2cents worth. With all of the trouble they have been having with this version in particular, I have not updated from the JRPRPO site. I know that JR Americas has reviewed it in depth and while not finding anything wrong with it, they have issues with the install process. So, thus far I haven't seen it released on their site. Correct me if I am wrong here. I never update from the Japan site. Cheers.

Paul I updated mine to v6 on the weekend the only thing I noticed was on some models the widgets didn't transfer . Am flying with it tomorrow. I did read a post where the surfaces had reversed????

Having recently purchased my 28x .. I would ask if there has been a definitive answer given as to the linking of voice to add on flight modes ? On my aircraft setup I have a three position switch (F) for flap selection with voice alert ... no problem... However Flight Mode 4&5 / gear up & gear down I cannot activate voice. I can move 4&5 to top of priority list only to lose flap alert !! .. Am I not understanding the protocol correctly.
Any help would greatly appreciated ....

don't hold your breath. i got kicked off face book for being too out spoken because of the lack of tech support. pretty much JR was totally clueless when the 28 came out and i'm betting with the very limited work force they have , they still are. the 28 is by far the best radio ever made, it's just getting help with it that's the frustrating part.

Can anyone help on a couple of points.
1 I have programmed the rudder on one channel and rudder2 on another channel the second one for the nose steering. I cant attach a trim to the second rudder. Is it possible to attach a seperate trim to rudder2 ?
2 I need to delay a nose door any clues as to the best way people are doing this ?
thanks

What you want is pretty straightforward
Set your steering servo on one of the auxiliary channels and assign it to one of the trimable switches ( I use the one right over the throttle trim)
Mix this to your rudder channel but don't include trim in the mix . That should get you squared away
Now for door delay. Assign your gear door control to another channel ( glad you have so many ) and then go into the "gear control" screen and build you a gear up/gear down curve a little tricky at first but you will figure it out. Everything is infinitely adjustable and really great once you figure it out. Lol
Hope this helps
