I think you need to worry more about Boeing than the FAA. Boeing might close down Phantom Ln. because of it.

That was a collection for Marvin to get a spell check program for his computer. Apparently he squandered the money!

I was thinking she had a medical issue or something and money was raised to help. I was just curious, the picture seems to indicate something of that nature. Not something hard to believe with the generosity of RC people in general. If not its ok. Still the roll of $$ is curious.

Thanks.

I was just making a joke from the previous posts and I know Marvin has a great sense of humor. I'll let someone else with more class than I or any for that matter address your question.

It was money collected to help Marvin to get back into flying again. Marvin is one of the best guys to ever meet in our hobby. There is more to the story but that is short answer. Come to the event and you can see why there is so much genrosity. Once you see and meet everyone you will understand.

Hey Paul, glad to hear that you're attending your first JOK. You won't be disappointed. So, be nice for the next week and don't give out too many speeding tickets, lol.

Hey Keith, looks like we have a role reversal, I lost my Rhino SP (42 lbs) in an unfortunate accident at FIF and had to put in my Super Eagle, I flew bunch of flights with the new lower power and was quite surprised, the 30lbs of thrust moved the Dolphin quite well, the only real difference was in the vertical performance.
