As always, KY jets is a great time, even thought we had to dodge the weather a lot of the time. I almost needed an Ark Sunday morning as I was heading home.

Yelp the other f14 is from Danny with chief. The global jet club t-33 is a bit harder my friend Paul, but there were three at the event.

The Global Jet T-33 was David Murray, and the Thunderbird F-100 was Greg Hames.

The other F-14 is as mine as everyone has mentioned and it flies on Jetcat P-160SX's, JR28X DMSS radio, and complete Xbus system.

Outstanding! now I am just waiting on Lewis for one last bit of info and we are complete. I am working on the DVD cover sheet, and the website is enroute. The DVD cases have arrived, so it will not be too long now.

Hey P. Richards
My name is Paul and my T-33 is powered by a Jet Central Rhino 200.
Dave Murray did not fly his T-33 during JOK. It was there, but did not fly. Mine is the silver t-Birds scheme and his is the white scheme. There was one other big T-33 at the event too (Ken). His had smoke, but my smoke pump was acting up and would not work. If the flight was smokeless, it was mine.
Thanks,
Paul

That was my F-14. Skymaster product and my case is the only known case on this airframe. After a long week at Kentucky Jets and a gear collapse during landing super save, I was able to identify the problem which were a series of loose bolts on the right wing mechanism. 2 of them on the actuator and 2 on the pins that go across the two carbon cross members. I had been working on these parts previously when I was updating the aluminum actuators in sort of a hurry on the field at Joe Nall. The landing probably gave it what it needed to accelerate the loosening of the bolts. I think a bit more attention and lock tight would have avoided the problem! Damn field updates!

Update: I also found that the bolts that anchor the landing gear mounts to the wood former which in turn hold the wing cross member also had play due to the not so smooth landing. That is a big deal as it holds the wing mechanism. I have installed washers on the wood side and tightened the screws to where there is 0 play now. Also, added washers to the back sides of all other screws that bolt to wood formers if they directly relate to the mounting of the landing gear and wing cross member. I am confident the combination of all these loosened screws created the wing flutter across both wings evenly.

Tested both wing rods and they are rock solid. Any other plane and it would have come apart in flight! This is one strong bird for sure! Bird is still in excellent condition.

Going to take her up this next weekend!

I believe the other T-33 belongs to a flyer name Ken, he also flew a white, red and silver ViperJet.

Ok this is my last one I wanted to post. It is my on board video. I loan the camera to Jim and Bob to use on his UPS jet. Here is mine with both front and rear views edited together.
