I have for a long time fitted soldered barbs to all my tank pipes, the 1/8 and 5/32 size is common. With bigger turbines and the Rxi type now I decided larger tank tubing was needed so we have produced these 5mm size barbs (largest of three in pix)
The 5mm tube gives a healthy percentage increase in hole size and tests have shown lower pump voltages

Dave I have been using 3/16" (5mm) brass fuel line since I started into turbines, I have always used the next size up tubing to make a non slip fitting because nobody made a 3/16" barb.
This will make life easy, who is selling in the states?
