Here are some gear details. Sturdy stuff that is designed with grass in mind. The system is holding air, just like the small one does.

Dave, what is that you use to keep the brake line secured?

Tried to upload more pixs last night but my lap top card reader is playing up! Will get a lead from the office.
Brake lines-its insulation tape, stripped in half. (electrical tape) Cable ties crimp the tube and clips don't work on this sort of leg.

Here is one showing the wing tube sleeve. On the Xcalibur we had two short lengths, the Plus has full width so there is no chance of pinching cables etc
Mark, the small one is sealed too! here is proof why its needed on the large one!

Dave, you realize it's a plane and not an off road vehicle, right? Kidding of course. Good things for those sealed off wheel wells. Looks like you're putting them through a good test.

Yep! Just how our field is at this time of year, but the Xcalibur's get flown all through the year because of the sealed wells.
About to continue testing with a P-140Rx installed in place of the P-180Rx.

Good to know and can't wait to see. My club's field gets sloppy in the spring so the sealed wheel wells will be welcomed. Can't wait for your report on the 140. I'm going to go with either a 120 or 140 more than likely.

If you read the original posting, you will see I turned down the 180 to 85N and flew a full routine. I didn't have the video man then, so will get a video with the 140 and if there is time I'll turn that down to 85N too and video that.

Well Dave, last night I went ahead and placed the order for the Xcalibur + and paid it in full from Global Jet Club. So, now it's just a waiting game. Keep putting out the info. Thanks.

Just sticking a spare new P-140Rx in the Plus. At some stage we will get some video of the flights.

Looks good Dave. Can't wait to see the video. Also, let me know how it balanced with the 140 because that is what I am thinking of going with. I'm sort of torn between a 160 or 140.

Dave, by looking at the pictures of the P-140 install, is there a "shim" or something to raise the turbine a little? It looks like a lighter colored wood that the turbine is setting on. Just curious.

What's your thoughts about a P-120 as the powerplant.
