Has anyone heard if the customs hurdle has been cleared yet? I know the container was estimated to be in on the 18th of August. I have had mine ordered and paided for in full since Feb. so getting a little anxious about getting my hands on it finally.

Dave, I was looking at all the parts today since I just got the plane yesterday and looking in the nose wheel bay I do not see any guide tubes preinstalled for the steering cables like the pictures of your sport scheme Xcalibur+. Are they suppose to be installed at the factory or is that something you have to do yourself.

Went to our local grass field to test fly/set up a couple of members models. I took the plus for an outing as I haven't had the chance to fly it much recently. Such a versatile airframe, bit bigger than the F-16 I took too!

Well, not impressed with something already. I only have 1 box with just the struts in it and no retracts or the second air tank. No where to be found in the box. So, looks like it won't get landing gear installed anytime soon. How does one overlook that. I waited 7 months to be shorted sort of a important part. That kind of sucks.

Nope, just the one box with the struts, wheels, brakes, 1 air tank, valve, T's and some air line. The other box with the actual retracts is not in with everything else. This just makes worry if there is something else missing because there isn't a parts break down. I guess it'll be over a week now before I can install the gear. Plenty of time to hinge, install servos and everything else.

So does the Plus use 2 separate tanks or just 1? Your picture early in the thread shows both boxes side by side. That is the picture I sent to GJC to show them an example of what I am missing. Just hate to start off a project with something missing. Thanks as usual Dave. You're feedback on stuff so far has been great and hope to be picking your brain some more once I start really going on this.

Two tanks. One either side of nose cowl. I have them linked as I have the Behotec dual use valve, One for each would be fine

So since the manual doesn't really show what bolts, screws or anything else is used for mounting things how exactly is the wing mounted. I am assuming you have to drill the wing tube and bolt from the top of the wing panels. I guess I thought the manual would be a tad more informative considering all the hardware is just lumped together. I haven't had a lot of time to really look at it since we've been busy with the long weekend but starting this week I have to get cracking on it. Just wondering what you guys have run into building so far.
