Billy, make sure to pack your shorts, your system will be in shock in the 80 deg weather next week!

Please don't set false expectations.

Highs are only predicted to be in the mid 70's

We have had JSO's 407 in our field for a show-n-tell at a heli fly-in, nobody said a word about it.

Got my parking pass and map also. I don't see any room on the flight line for pop ups and trailers. Does any know where we can set up with a camper also?

I know 2 years ago on the grass field there was plenty of room on the ends.

When you arrive, Jim Mahoney will show you where to park your camper.

Rich, Won't you feel guilty about abandoning your PA neighbors to the cold and snow?

Hey Rich, sounds great! I'll be at the end of the driveway wearing a snowmobile suit!

Hi Jeff, excellent offer! I'll be glad just to come pit with you and not have to shovel snow to get in the trailer.

Was at the field yesterday, apparently they had a lot of rain last week so the grass portions are very soggy, my advise is to bring boots as sneakers will be wet in the first minute of walking!
Went out on a quest to find boots, forget about it! Most placed were sold out, found some slip on's at a Tractor supply that fit over my sneakers, but they were almost out of the larger sizes. Other than that the weather was great Sunny, Warm, and low winds!!!!

p.s. I'll trade a little mussy ground with 80 deg temps for Ice any day!

Rich,

I hope that you guys have a great time and bring some warmth and sunshine back to PA. Ice storms and more snow are in our future.

Mike

p.s. I waited at the curb all night. I think that you went to the wrong house.

Ha! I was just thinking the same thing - although I'm a bit "dense" and it took me to the 2nd time it was swampy at FIF to go to the local Walmart and buy some boots! Now I carry them in the trailer all the time.

I must say though that the guys that run FIF seem to have gotten the "swamp" filled in... What service!
