Well year 1 is done and in the books for Jets over Iroquois. It was way beyond anything we could of hope for with people and planes and the wonderful weather
I got to do a short flight on the Friday with my Stinger 90 EDF from Freewing - In fact we had 3 of them flying at this event this year - If you want to get started in jets the Stinger is a great way to get that jet feeling
So here it is a short video taken from the Mobius HD camera mounted on the Stinger

Cheers

Kudos to Ken and his able crew for hosting this inaugural jet rally in Iroquois, Ontario, CA. They had 30 pilots flying a variety of model jets including scale and sport turbines and EDFs- even had a turbo heli and a glow DF. The weather was fantastic for all 3 days with plenty of sunshine and light breezes, right down the runway. I must admit that overflying the St. Lawrence Seaway was a bit intimidating and the 20' wide runway made you work for it on landing. Every pilot landing on the runway received a very nice "Ace" plaque award. Sponsor donations were distributed by a pilot's raffle of tickets awarded for each flight- more flights=more tickets and chances to win. Most important, to me anyway, was renewing many acquaintances from previous Canadian jet rallies held at Bellville and La Chute along with making new friends. The evening "Meet and Great" sessions were a huge success along with the 4th of July fireworks display. It doesn't get much better than this. Again, thanks to all for hosting Jets Over Iroquois.

Thanks Art
We should be getting a ton of action photos uploaded shortly from Larry our offical photo guy - He said they should be out tonight
Yup runway is 2000 ft long but 23 ft wide - Sort of Carrier landing concentration skills are more of what is needed to stick it good on the runway
Cheer for now
