This was my first trip to MAB. Joe and I were the road crew for the Okie crowd. Not a bad trip to Mississippi, but I will never go though Dallas again. (Sorry Bob-O) Had a wonderful time, met some fine folk and watched a lot of great flying. Between the six of us, think we burned a little over 60 gallons, most of that on Friday and Saturday. I want to thank my fellow Okies, Joe Slann, Dave Goss, Ryan Boyd, Mark West and Don Perry. You guys make this hobby a lot of fun. I also want to thank Vernon, Dennis and the rest of the Mississippi gang for putting on a great event. I will definitely be back again next year. Doc

Wow, what a great event! We had a fantastic time as well. Thanks to Vernon and all of those who make this a great event. (Bob-O, Dawn, Bob Price, Michelle, airport staff, and all the others who worked so hard to make sure we had fun) From the food to the flying, it does not get any better. The best part though is sitting around with friends and catching up. Hopefully some of you all will get down to our Houston Jet events this year so we can meet again.
See everyone next year as we will definitely be back!

Thank yall for the pics. Sorry I missed the event. In some of the pics I seen a Coors light silver bullet BD-5. Did it fly and can anyone give a report. Was it a Skymaster or Hempel? I have always liked that jet and was thinking about ordering one soon. Thanks Greg

I wanted to say thanks to all who supported Mississippi Afterburner 2015. We had 83 registered pilots. I know of a couple of no shows because of the weather forecast but as usual, the forecast was wrong, turned out great for all three days. As you know we do this event to raise money for a scholarship fund for the aviation dept for the school who owns the airport we use. This year, we raised over $9000.00. Students have been able to continue their education because of this fund when otherwise they would not be able to. Many thanks to you the pilots and vendors who generously gave prizes and product, bought raffle tickets and t-shirts from a relentless CD (me). Most of you gave more than once. Not only did we have fun but we did some good. Again, many thanks to the pilots and vendors.
