Hey guys. We're still getting a few rental tent request but unfortunately we're not taking additional orders. As in past years we had to meet a dead line with the rental company to give him enough time to prepare. We have a BOAT LOAD of rentals this year. Also had to have a tent lay out submitted to the fire marshal for getting permit approval etc. All that has been done.
We do have room left over for pop ups!!! As in past years, we'll start them along the pit row where rentals end, and again along the runway line where those rentals stop. """First Come First Serve"""
Layout this year looks very similar to that of KY jets. I know a couple of people have expressed a need for tent space and others on the thread have responded offering up room for them.
Reminder about the Saturday Night Banquet . All registered pilots receive one ticket with their registrations fees. Additional tickets can be purchased and will be sold up until 5:00 PM Friday. I have to notify the caterer not later than 5:00 that evening. Tickets are $10 each
Aside from that, we're just about ready to roll folks! Robert and I were at the airport Wednesday doing some lay out work for tents and putting out the cool FIF banner along the road. I have my trailer all loaded with FIF equipment ( looking like Fred Sanford!) and it's ready to pull out O-Dark Thirty Monday morning. See y'all there.
