Yes, that's mine. Its a Ziroli Panther that I blew up to 110% so that it has an 80" wingspan. Its P-120SE powered and has operating flaps, split flaps, speed brakes, blow-in doors, and canopy.

There was a pilot I spoke with who was selling a BVM BobCat with a P100 engine at First Flight.. If you are reading this, it had a toy full body figure in the cockpit. I mentioned I was looking for something bigger but now I've changed my mind. Never got a chance to take a pic or talk more about it. If you are that person (or know who he is) and it's still available, please PM me... I'm interested.

That's AWESOME Jeff!!!! Keep them coming buddy. Actually, looking at he video's is going to help us out in planning for the 2016 event. Your video gives us a great perspective of the tent lay out, pit row set up and lots more. Oh,,, and maybe we can share the video with the city of Wilson to give them a good look at what they make possible.
Again, keep the videos coming if you have more. It would be nice to have them added tot he FIF Face Book page as well.
Robert and I hopefully will chime in with closing remarks on this years event soon. We've been up to our eyebrows in work trying to play catch up! But a quick thanks to everyone that attended or helped out to make this years FIF he best ever!

Just a follow up on this years First in Flight. Robert and I along with the whole First In Flight Jet club want to send out a big thanks to all who attended. This year was by far the Best Ever! We had hundreds of airplanes and the largest pilot count to date. But it's not the number of pilots and planes that make the event a success. It's not even the 5 Star rated Porta-John service we had!! It's the quality of flying, the laughs, and the people themselves that really make FIF such a great event. We were blessed with 5 great days of flying this year, only giving way to some rain on Thursday. Very few incidents occurred and we couldn't even count the number of flights made over the five days. Robert and I would like to thank ALL of the pilots who not only put on a great show, but exhibited a tremendous amount of professionalism both in the air and on the ground! We implemented some new safety rules in the start up area/pilot stations and were hoping to create a better "flow" so pilots could get in more flying with less waiting. You guys responded GREAT! As many of you know we had a lot of representation from both AMA and the JPO at this years event. It was our opportunity to show both organizations that our segment of the hobby is indeed a safe one and our pilots are professionals. Again, you guys got the job done! The City of Wilson was impressed as well. We were able to bring the public in large numbers and provide some amazing entertainment over the holiday weekend. FIF is quickly becoming an annual event they look forward to.
We also want to send out a big thanks to our sponsors. FEJ, BVM, Global Jet Club, Horizon Hobby,Jet Central USA, Jet Central MX, Nirly Built Models, Tar Heel Flyers, Dream Works RC, FIF Jet Club, JPO, Russ Levy, and Larry Roper of Boomerang Jets. All of these folks stepped up to offer both support and merchandise to make FIF better than ever. Please take time to thanks these great folks when you have a chance.
The dust has settled, the infield is empty, and Wilson Industrial Air Center has returned to its quite paced operations. But for 5 amazing days, it was Wide Damned Open!!!! We're already making plans for next years event and hope you all can make it back again. And yes,,,,,our new porta-john service will be back! lol

[QUOTE]Marc I think it had a close encounter with the wind sock[QUOTE]
Unfortunately it did on the Saturday, however it flew 8 or so times on the Friday so was hoping someone got some pics or video but seems nobody did which I find hard to believe to be honest.

As Larry said, it takes enthusiastic event management, supportive and willing city/airport leaders, a great team of workers (who area all volunteering their time), sincerely appreciated sponsors, and professional jet fliers to make a great event like this happen. We are grateful for all of you and are happy that you came together with us in Wilson. We really look forward to more of the same in the coming years.
