A-10 and other Jets flying in Oklahoma Yesterday
We finally had a good day to get out and do some flying!
In the pic with the shell casings, the smaller one is what is fired from an F-16, F-15. The larger one is an actual one fired from a A-10.
Here is a youtube link to some A-10 Vids

It was a great day, got 4 more flights on my Viper. And had some absolutely fantastic chicken wings prepared by Hillbilly Joe!!! Doesn't get any better than that, good food, good friends and good flying. Doc

I love it! Rock solid flyer. And yes it is an exact copy of yours. One of the reasons I chose it was watching yours fly at Mt Pleasant last year. No smoke yet, we had to put another tank in to extend our fight times but we might just split that tank and have it do double duty, smoke and fuel. Doc

Hey Don I want to purpose a Chandler Jet Jam. A chance to bring OKC and Tulsa guys together. My hope would be for some TX and KS guys too! I'm not sure who we need to contact at Chandler?
Where is the CG located on the A-10? We have a small one here and have had a hard time with rotation. Can the owner of the A-10 provide a total chord length then distance from leading edge back to CG? This will allow us to scale down to the small bird. K-60 power

Jason,
Ill get you the info on the A-10 I have it balanced on the Aft end of the CG (but thats how I like the feel in a lot of my jets). In my dealing with various skymaster jets all of there CG's have been FAR to forward.
Chandler is prob out of the question. They have re done the taxi way lay out and it will be a long way to the runway with out being in the way if some one comes and go's.
Bristow or our place in Lindsay. Lindsay has much better asphalt than bristow, and no giant cracks in the taxi way and runway. I'm generally the only full scale traffic. I know some of the TX guys are going to try to come up and fly with us some. As we are about the same driving time from dallas area as it is for them to Waco.

Thanks for the comments, not to worry Kirk were still using all of the connectors and extensions. We just redid the layout on the wiring.
If you built it you did a great job!
