What is your favorite Jet and why?
Ok,, I know most of us have more than one turbine jet, but me and the guys were talking if you were forced to sell all your jets but one which would it be and why.
While I dont have now were near the nice stuff some of you guys do I have to say I found new love for my Carf Rookie 2 yesterday, I swaped out the p80 with a older 27-28 pound P120, and the diffrace was amazing, I think the top end was only 15mph or so more, but the super short take off run with strigh vertical, and the power to throw this girl a around was great, I was even able to do my first Cobras yesterday, Im thinking of swaping a P120SX out of my F15 for 2 more pounds of thrust it was so much fun.
So my list:
I got:
Skymaster F15,
Velox XL
Carf Eurosport
Carf Rookie 2,
If I had to settle on one it would have to be the Rookie for its speed envolep, can use any flying feild and 3d capblitys.
How about you?

Any F-16. Ive been preaching that is the best sport model ever since 2004 and I think it is now starting to catch up becasue BVM is selling them. And of course, if BVM sells them , they have to be good correct?
Wide speed envelope, can be as scale as needed, fully aerobatic, looks good, plenty of room for equipment, still fly good when highly loaded, easy to set up, easy to work on, plenty of options available.
But let BVM tell you about it, ;-)

BTW: I learned to fly jets on an F-16 and have had at least one always. So, you can learn to fly on an F-16 and develop from there.

Easy. My KingCat
Reasons-- Flies like a Bandit, way over powered on a JC 180, sits on its feet even when the wings are off, not too big/small, exposed turbine, looks great, BVM quality, easy to get parts and durable. It's all I have for right now, but it is bulletproof...

CARF Hawk. Because it is the only jet I have? And because it flies amazingly well and it looks fantastic in its 2010 Display Scheme. It will be hard to beat.
I look forward to my current project now, SM Cougar should be no slouch in the handling/looks department either.
I had an UF for a little while but got bored with it in just a few flights. I realized that for me scale+jets will always go together.

Except Mine has a Wren K160 . Another reason, it breaks down to a very small package and will fit in my van along with my1/8th F-16 and PST Panther

Easy answer is F14. Just not in the cards for now. For speed I liked my hot spot. For fun and fly anywhere I liked my Turbinator. I'm digging my lightning and will be digging the F18 soon. But will sell them all for an F14.

I was mainley flying sport jets, until I finally learned, and figured out how to fly and land my f-16. All I can say is wow I love the way it flies, lands, and looks in the air. I am alteeady thinking of getting a second one in a military scheme so i can add all the ordinance kit on it. Love this jet
