yes it was... small like the nano but thrice the price and then some around the $1500 USD. Haven't heard too much so may not be a big seller.

If you're retooling the Torus, it would really improve the airframe if the main gear we located further forward. It should balance like an Elan and sit on its nosewheel or tail after you leave it there. My Torus was almost impossible to take off grass esp if the grass was longer or wet which is common at fields around here. It just would not rotate.

i love the Elan and its ability to easily take off grass fields and do nice greasy landings and hold the nose off for a couple hundred feet when landing on pavement.

Larry, I wish you the best of luck .
I have flown my Elan for the last 6 years, and damaged it last week.
Please put me down for one in your first batch.
Mine was the Grey Navy scheme. Will you be offering the same schemes?
Thanks Bill Ferguson

Larry it was a pleasure meeting you at FIF last week. I'm glad you have the passion to continue with the Boomerang line. When ever I'm approached for advice on a 1st jet. Boomerang always come out of my mouth. My Boomerang XL has served me well with now 538 flights in four years and 4 more planned for tomorrow. I have other jets but the Boomer is my go to for everyday fun. Because I fly off grass mostly, I've worn out a set of Pro Links but the basic plane is still solid. As long as I'm flying I'll always own one.
Good luck and look forward to seeing you again this summer.

Hello Olsen....it was great meeting g you as well as the many,many Boomer fans who where present at FIF 2015.

I'm curious.... How does someone from Ohio (snow belt) manage to get that many flights in 4 years. I'm impressed!

I'm still trying to wiggle my way to JOK this year and hopefully we can fly together again.

Happy Boomerang Flying

Hello All.....I've been receiving many requests for pricing and technical information.

Here is a list of the pricing for each model.

Sprint = $899
XL = 1399
Elan = $1499
Torus = $1699

The website is close to completion but I have held of from go live until I actually have product available.

Production is on track for a late August / Early September of the first order.

For anyone who may be interested, I am also working with the factory to produce the Turbinator. For this redesign of the Tubinator will have a two piece plug in wings and will fit the 125oz tank. Pricing on the Turbinator hasn't been set yet but I'm expecting it to be around $1099. I had 2 prototypes delivered to me and have been flying them successfully. Some minor changes are being made and then the order will be placed for these airframes as well.

Hello Kim.....The pricing levels for all of the Boomerangs are the same as they have been for years. However, as we all know very well the cost of goods,production and transportation have risen significantly over the past few years.

I feel The Boomerang family of jets still represents a very good value and I will do my best to always bring a good value to the customer.

All the best,

Larry

Hello Geh3,
The XL center section is of built up construction. I am looking to make improvements on all of the boomerangs as we progress so suggestions are welcome. A molded center section on the XL is on the list but it will be quite a while before that occurs.

I will have 2 color schemes available on the XL. The Stars and Stripes and the "Tribute Edition"

The tribute edition harkens back to the very first Boomerang Alan Cardash ever built and the color scheme is a duplicate of that. Here is a picture of Alan and Ali at Florida Jets in 2002 when the Boomerang made its first appearance here in the US.
