I have been asked a couple times, what is the size of the runway, length/width?

Ronnie,

Our runway is 50 x 575 if my memory serves me right. It would be great if you can make it.

Hey Gus, how is the water situation at the field? We are about to float away up north!

The field is in good shape. We have had a lot of rain, however the parking, pits and the runway is in good shape. It is wet of the concrete and you wouldn't want to land off of the runway. Right now it's very flyable. We haven't had as much rain at the field as you have had.

Also, you will need to stay on the parking lot. It's pretty muddy off of the gravel. It shouldn't be a problem.

You going to walk around with that thing in your hairy split? Hoping for a lightning strike so you can finally feel something down below? ;-)

Ronnie,

Local forecast doesn't look good. The field is WET but again we have covered, paved pits. We have had more rain and the runway does have water on parts of it now. We will pump the water off if necessary. The forecast changes daily so you be your own judge.

OK, here's the plan for eating dinner Thurs. and Friday nites. Good resturants are usually really busy Fri and Sat. evenings. So for those that are there Thursday we are going out to eat. Friday is kinda a pot luck dinner at the field. I'm bringing sloppy joe fixin', with chips and Bush's beans. No plan is set for Saturday nite at this time. David Elizondo is on a diet of peanut butter filled pretzels. I've got him covered for the entire weekend.

There is a gas grill available for use at the field.
