Ouch, that F-14 crash sucks, sorry for the loss.
The second photo looks like the pilot ejection seat was active...

Nope not barry's. I know someone built two at once and they were both headed to top gun, not sure if this is one of them.

Barry's did have that scheme. His was mostly gray in color with very light tail art.

Unfortunately I believe that this was Joe Grice's jet entry, with David S flying. David was unable to save it after one of the vertical surfaces came off.

You can see in the pic that a vertical is gone, I noticed that right away but assumed it may have happened as a result of.

Any idea what what caused the f-14 fin to come off? I have been worried about the very small carbon rods used to hold it on. Sorry see such a loss it sure did look nice.

Is there someone else crazy enough to scratch build one of these other than me?

As usual, you never have anything positive to say about anything. You always manage to put someone or something down.

Go cry a river Bob-O seeing you have nothing better to do with all the time you have on your hands, Already this in year in Florida 2 people got injured this could have been another; take your positive chanter with you on the way out.

I'm sure if skymaster has a pattern of crap departing like fej did, the forks will come out. The best part of fej was they got some of your money. See, there is always a positive.

more skymaster jets have crashed than fej, I suppose you are happy about that too; I imagine what type of celebration would happen when that big hawk you have goes in

said it before and will say it again, doesn't matter who makes your plane, unless you go through it, inspect and make the changes needed they all can go in case in point.

It's not case in point. If a brand has wings etc coming off in flight because the spars have caps that are not even vertical grain, then they are clearly a manufacture that is in over their heads when it comes to structural engineering. You are the most toxic poster ever on rcu. I'm sorry I got in the mud with you.

Keep the top gun pics coming. I'm at top gun. The models are just works of art.
