Will SM blame the crash on the batteries, aggressive flying, or solar flares? No. SM has been supporting their customers when a failure happens. That is the difference.

Here I clicked on the thread because I thought I was going to see some good shots of TopGun and wow, was I mistaken. I guess I stepped into a real pissing match. Hopefully pictures will come soon enough.

Was that the first flight of the day or something? Perhaps it was simply due to forgetting to tighten the vertical fin during assembly, aka, operator error.

Keep the top gun pics coming. I'm at top gun. The models are just works of art.
Right genius over hear and figured out that honey comb has grains running horizontally apparently. And the chinese plywood aparently only uses 1 sided grain FEJ got it all wrong horrible....

Forget that this is Skymasters first attempt at using airex and maybe they didn't get just right there first time either... noo... that could never happen.

It sure is hard to find some coverage of the Top Gun event anywhere. I would love to see some pictures of the planes entered, thought this thread might be the start but it has imploded. Please someone must be at the event with a camera! None of the other forums FG etc. seem to be bothered covering it yet.

Thanks Bob and Kirk looking forward to seeing you. Yes next on the list is RDS on the wings . Just need some time to get it done. Very happy with the rudders they have been perfect. So many have come up to feel the play in them and could not believe how tight they are. It was a great event this year!

This one was a little close He was already in his maneuver as was I so we both just rode it out and trusted each other. All worked out great and looked nice!
