For me, in a world class competition like this there should be no gyros,They will be doing schedules with autopilots next. By the way I was taught crosswind landings with my Precedent Hiboy Trainer when learning.

Well, what has always amazed me when watching the videos from events like this is the terrible landing approaches by some of these guys. You see it time and time again. When I fly my turbines, I always learn to fly them slow and know where the limits are. Then, my landing approaches are not ridiculously fast and steep. I see these guys with jets and warbirds alike doing some of the worst landings I have seen. Too bad considering how nice the models are.
