Default Joe Nall 2015

Hi guys. Here are a few pictures of the event.
A few very nice jets are present at the show.

Our guys are busy with the booth but we'll try to share more jets pictures and videos here.

A few statistics for 2014:

1483 pilot entries.
7 flight lines including a control line that stays available 24 hours a day.
34 pilot stations.

Number of remote controlled vehicles last year:
578 classic planes including jets
314 3D planes
355 Electric planes
81 Float planes
63 Helicopter
21 Control Line planes

45 States represented with registered pilots.
10 Foreign countries represented with registered pilots.
94 vendors

We do not have the official figures yet but I bet the event is counting well over 1500 pilots this year.
Does someone know about the number of jet entries?

An unbelievable spectacle....maybe the biggest RC event in the world? Usually not all that many jets (a couple dozen?) but I'll be checking it out later this week as a spectator.

Yep, and the weather is fantastic right now. Could get a bit stormy later today though.

1400 pilots last year! It wasn't long ago that they surpassed 1000 and I thought that was crazy.

A little disappointed yesterday to find the Weatronic tent abandoned. Otherwise, a great event.

The S-27s appeared to be wood kits, or at least hybrids. Light and strong, yet simple.

Craig, sorry that we had to bail out early. Orlando had been on the road for three weeks straight between Mississippi Afterburner, Top Gun and then Joe Nall. We had to get him back home for some rest. This was our first experience at Joe Nall and we will definitely be back next year and will stay through closing. We just did not know what to expect this year and went early instead of staying to the end. We will be at Jets Over Kentucky later this summer and hope to see you there!
