Why are Jetcat so expensive.
Please, don't get me wrong, they are fantastic engines, but even after the reduction in cost, they are still quite high compared to the likes of Jets Munts or Kingtech.
Again, not knocking Jetcat. Just curious why so different in price.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have an issue with KingTech and the support from those guys has always been fantastic which I why I bought the one for my Shockwave. But with the prices coming down about 25% and John getting the support issues ironed out, they're going to be a player again. Bye the way, BVM has the JetCats at the same price Todd is showing on his website and BVM is where my engine came from along with a new model.

P200rxi = $4.295,00 and KT210G = $3.250,00.
It is a reasonable difference, and should be considered maintenance cost!!
but, good for custmers

King tech compared to Jet Cat...lets see .. how about Hyundai compared with a Mercedes... Sure they both have four wheels. One is made in Germany and the other is made in Taiwan.. I have driven both and wow Hyundai even has a great maintenance program but i would never compare one to the other. Oh and if you express an unfavorable opinion about jetcat you don't have a short tempered nut ripping you a new one...
I think you're wrong on that one. I just bought a new P-180RXi for the same price I recently paid for a KingTech K-210G. So what you ask, the KingTech is a bigger engine. Well maybe it's rated bigger but the 46lbs. of thrust attributed to the KingTech isn't much different than the smaller JetCat and the electronics/build of the JetCat is something to see.

Perhaps, but there is a difference of about 20% in the USD to Euro exchange rate over the past year

i know that there are many US companies who export to Europe who are aware of this and the pressure it places on their distributors, making the product more expensive/less price competitive.
