Really interested in this as a first jet with the K45. Seems like a great size for transportation and cost. With the K45 whats the top speed most are getting?

I don't know who built that little beast as it came out some time after the the other SebArt models. The composite model of the Avanti S is made by Krill and if that small one was also made by Krill, well let's just say getting any replacement parts probably isn't going to happen but I think Chief is the current vendor for the Krill stuff.

Stabs and wings are listed in Sebart's online shop but whether they are actually available, and how much shipping would be, I don't know.

I've been trying to get in touch with Carlos at cmjets to order a fuel tank. The paypal link at cmjets.com is not working for me and I've had several bounced emails. I've had several problems with my email service provider and european connections in the past. Has anyone ordered from him lately?

Thanks,

Mitch

I just received my last order a few weeks ago. I am using the 1,7 liter version for the Mini Avanti

Normally I contact him through: [email protected]

Good reaction and service for the two orders I placed recently.

Sorry if it's been stated earlier in this thread but does anyone know the size of the tank that is in Sebart's conversion set? I need more duration and want to make sure I get a replacement tank that is bigger than the one already in there!!

5 flights on mine now with a P-20 and it goes really well from a hard runway.

On sebart web page it states the weight with 650cc fuel, so I would guess thats the size of the tank?

P20 related question in a kingtech thread, but here goes...

I´m ready to maiden my mini avanti with P20 SE tomorrow. When I test ran the turbine (2nd hand, 1 hr run time) it idled at 100k and maxed out at 235k. Should I change this to 85k and 245k?

I asked the same q in the turbine clinic part of the forum, but this part seems to get more traffic.

Just ordered mine from Carlos using the email address as suggested. It was a very good experience, now I just have to wait for it to be delivered. Carlos is also making me a 1.3L tank for my Jet Teng Viper 90.

Cheers,

Jan

The XXL Avanti is made by Skymaster for SebArt and is all composite
The 2.1m all composite Avanti is made by Krill for Sebart

All of the others are made in the same factory as the other SebArt airframes, featuring a hybrid composite and wood structure to keep things light.

We have most if not all parts in stock.

Hello friends, exactly. The different AvantiS are built in different factories. But you can find all tanks for AvantIS models in same website.

New jet you may want to wait for that will be better serviced than the Sebart........And a whole lot cheaper in price, but not quality

Cheaper than a Mini Avanti? Really?

(and it's too big for a P-20)

I don't have the Mini-Avanti, but I have two buddies who have them and love them. After all, the mini was designed by a "world class" pilot and designer! The T1 might not have even flown yet. It might be better and cheaper but we just don't know yet. So you may want to wait on the T1 but maybe not. Time will tell but this is the Avanti thread, right?.............

So I agree with you roalddogge, it will be tough to be all that, and cheaper too!!

I do own a Mini Avanti, with K45 (next to some other, larger jets)

For me this is a combination very difficult to beat. Price is reasonable, performance is great and with a little gain on the iGyro it flies like a much larger one.

More often I noticed that I prefer to take this bird with me than any of the larger jets. It it just easier to transport, set up and handle at the field. Also you do not need to bring so much fuel with you.

Of course the Sebart products are overpriced and quality is at the end not much better than any good Chinese ARF manufacturer. But this one had more than 20 hours of flying without a single problem.
