Initial tests showed near identical idle thrust and slightly less fuel burn at 10lbs thrust compared to K45. I have not heard their full throttle fuel burn. Full throttle output was as advertised.

I like the sound of that! I doubt with this plane I will be at full throttle much! I need the wings to stay on! lol!
I believe I will go with the K70.

How big of a front wheel can you put on these?
I would like to put on at least 2 1/4" to fly off grass. 2 1/2" would be nice.

I won't know until I receive the struts, as far as I know it is just the mains they are selling.

Here is the CG of my Mini Avanti build. I wanted to mount the fuel tank as far aft as I could. It’s still forward of the CG.
Has anyone calculated CG with full fuel? (1.3L CM jet tank)
Here are the CG calculations I came up with. 145 mm recommended. I figured that I should never see the empty CG in flight. Hopefully...
Full Fuel 138.3 mm aft of the leading edge. Total aircraft weight 189.9oz
Landing Fuel. 148.9 mm aft of the leading edge. 165.5oz
Empty Fuel. 152.5 mm aft of the leading edge. 160.0oz

i received an email from Maria at Electron Retracts
She confirmed that they will soon have the ER30 retracts and struts for the Mini Avanti
(these are the save units that first appeared on the new Pirotti Rebel Hot)

Great to have an option. The std retracts have been flawless, the struts are definitely the weak link.

I see you have the tank from CMjets. I asked Carlos form there about purchasing one but odd that he needs a ID number from me? He said Italy uses this for tax purposes. They call it a National Document Identity?? I looked it up and it is like our social security number. I asked him if there is any other way because I cannot give him that. Did anyone else give this or am I mistaken of the ID he is asking for?? I need the 1.5L tank form him and the Itrap40 for my Mini Avanti S

Electrons would be the best option, had tried to fit the ER 30s when I received the 1st prototype, but thought the 30s were a bit big and heavy for the Avanti, the 30s would be perfect for jets the size of the rebel hot.

Bit of an overkill but I put electron 30's in my 90 mm Taft Cobra foam jet as I got sick of continually buying cheap HK crap. It really is false economy to keep on buying the same item over and over again. Not only does this add up in money but every time I have to do a belly landing I risk damaging more things like ripping out control horns et cetera.

I fly off a grass runway and the electrons have been bullet-proof.

If I add up all the money I have wasted over the years purchasing cheap retracts, I could have bought many electrons.
