I believe the oil sold by Kingtech is Shell Tellus 32. Jetcat oil is Shell T46 with anti static additive..

I use Shell Tellis 32 S no problems. The "S" is for an anti wear additive. and the best part it's $50 for 5 gal. here in the USA.

Kingtech oil is NOT Tellus 32. Tellus 32 will give you increased bearing wear between 25 hour inspections compared to kingtech oil. They might look the same but they are different.

Direct cut and paste from Kingtech web site:

"[h=3]KingTech Special Blend Oil 2 gallons[/h]KingTech Special Blend Oil 2 gallons with Shell Tellus 32 & Synthetics This item can be shipped only in the contiguous US via UPS."

Yes it does have Tellus 32 in it but its not pure tellus 32. Its a blend of other things also. Here is the Kingtech oil comparison chart.

That's why I use Shell Tellis 32 "S" It's listed as a turbine and hydraulic oil with anti wear additives and also my Jetcat went in for service my bearings were fine. Do you have any technical test data to qualify your claim of more bearing wear? Not trying to be stuburn but I haven't see those results in my jets but I always use Tellis 32 S

Based in this chart I think that I have been extremely lucky with aeroshell 500 in the last 17 years.. Zero stars for it and my three brands of turbines have zero problems related to lubrification all this time.

Toolmaker and Jose, great info! thanks for posting it.

Hi Mike, You have the rights to run any oil you choose to but I hope you aren't running Tellus 32 or DTE on a K-100 and expect it to last 25 hours, because it won't. The testing results are all summed up accurately in the comparison chart.

I am scratching my head now... how then there is people this place using anything but kingtech oil in their K80s and are still running their turbines well behind 25 hours ?

And does KIngtech recomend 25 hours in the usa and 50 hours revision in germany like Jetcat does?

Olá Barry o problema de desgaste prematuro com DTE é apenas em k-100?
