(Almost) End of Summer Jet Fun Fly Titusville, PA - Aug 28 - 30
We had such a great time, thought that we'd do it again. Knowing that some guys couldn't make the first one last month, we're gonna do it one more time. As far as I know, there aren't any other jet events happening in the NorthEast, so let's burn some kero! Hope to see another great turnout (B-B-Qing strongly encouraged)
As was last time, this is an informal get-together with Jet Pilots. There is no cost, just come out and have fun!
75 X 4900 feet of blacktop runway. Indoor bathroom facilities available.
If you’re interested, just reply in this thread so we have an estimation of the number of pilots. (Also, if anyone's interested in coming up on Thursday, let me know and I'll be there!)

I will monitor weather. Bad weather will cancel and a notification placed in this thread by Wed Aug 26th.

[h=2]starfire24, Titusville airport is located a little more than one hour south of Erie PA. The airport is located at 2572 Meadville Rd, Titusville, PA 16354.
We just did this same type of event July 30 and 31[SUP]st[/SUP], the thread is called "RC Jet Fly – Titusville, PA - Jul 30 – Aug 2, 2015" there are pictures and a couple of aerial shots of the airport, check it out and you will see how great a venue this place is for flying. Later today I will post a few pictures from the taxiway on the morning of Saturday and you will be able to see how awesome this place is from ground level.
Also if need I can get some hotel info and post at as well.

Hey Rich, can we get this FREE fun fly added to the Big Board (2015 events sticky), when you have a chance, since it looks like you are the person who has been keeping it up to-date.
Had a first look at the weather and things are looking good 75 Friday and the low 80's Saturday and Sunday so lets hope that it stays this way.
And as i stated in the beginning this is the only RC jet get together going in the North East.

Well as usual for me this year, I'm now not able to attend. Broke a molar that I just had a root canal done on in January to try and save it. I now have to have implant surgery on the 27th to keep on schedule for all my other dental work getting redone this year. Sucks getting old. lol.

Ron, sorry to hear that you can't make it, taking care of the health, that comes first, besides they have a great fall event here at the Titusville airport in September, "September 25th - 27th 2015 - Fall Edition of OC-Turbo Fest" you should try to make that one if all the dental work is done, myself, I would come to this event but that thing called work is going to get in the way.
Rich, sorry that I could not make it to Jets over the Valley, the turbine in my Reaction got sick and lost about 5 to 8 thousand RPM's off the top end. Ordered a new fuel pump but did not get it all worked out until last night. Reaction is now all ready to go.

Larry, Great to hear that you are coming up. I also will be pulling in Thursday night should be right around the same time, I also will be crashing on site, in the trailer on top of the pull out. Worked awesome last time I was there and slept like a baby.
Just a quick Weather update to all that are coming, and those that might be on the fence looking at which way to fall off. The weather may make you fall off the fence and land on "I'M IN!"

Saturday, 80 Partly Cloudy, wind south 5 to 7 MPH
Sunday, the weather guys are not in agreement so i'd rather not talk about it
Great wind for a North South runway.
Just an FYI for those who watch the weather like I do there is a very cool weather sight called Windyty.com which lets you look at wind condition for a particular place in one hour increments. Very Cool, should check it out when you have a chance.

As promised a last minute updated "ALL SYSTEMS GO FOR TAKE OFF". Had quick look at the weather and is just about the same as I talked about earlier just a little less wind on both day's
