Kilkenny Aerodrome - 50th Anniversary fly in
Well folks, had a great day yesterday in Kilkenny, Ireland. There's a small regional airport there that caters for general aviation, skydiving etc. and also invited model R/C clubs to join in on the fun. They arranged for the Bishop Aviation demo team to visit and it was just fantastic to have the guys over to us where they wowed the 1,000 or so people crowd with an outstanding Hawk routine and followed up later in the day with their stunning Avanti S routine.
There was 80 or so full size planes there with some aerobatic displays on so unfortunately I did not get to demo my F86 Dog Sabre until the show had actually finished. Hopefully that's something we can rectify for the next one if they make it the whole day instead of just the afternoon and the folks that were there to see it did seem to enjoy the flight.
There's some excellent photos up on FB, unfortunately all I have to share is what I grabbed on my iPhone but hope it conveys some taste for the event. If anyone has other pics please feel free to post them in here also.

Jet Italia turbine - Matt Bishop is very positive on these units and they certainly put out a solid performance all round.
