Default Wanted: Jetcat PTt5 part

Hi to all,

A friend needs the attached part to fix his turboprop. I don't know the name of the part in English. Maybe someone crashed and this part survived can help me.

Thanks in advance

I know you are remote, but trying to replace parts like this on a Turbo prop is not a good idea unless you have 100% understanding and tools. A failure with this (big prop spinning around) will create a huge amount of energy.
Please ship to JetCat. There are many updates to the TP SPT-5

Dave,

Thanks for the heads up. I believe the guy knows what he is doing.

Anyway Jetcat Brazil told him Jetcat doesn't sell this part. I found this odd but this is the information I have.

Actually they don't ship this part. He would have to send the turboprop to Germany.

Because they don't feel someone can fit themselves.
Understand JetCat's point. Its a JetCat, so its in the model and it fails, lets say its at a big meeting and lots of people see this, the majority will just get to know the JetCat failed, not why, or any info on who worked on this turbine, where the parts came from etc.

Its an expensive unit, its even more dangerous than a thrust producing turbine. Please have him send it to the guys...

Maybe someone he/you know comes to JetPower this year?

Best Regards

Dave

If Jetcat Brazil could service the turbine I'm pretty sure he would send. The problem is brazilian customs on the way back.

Thanks for your concern.
