Great, look forward to see everyone at Titusville
I just talked to Jack, he said Bob Engle is on site cutting the grass.
The plan is to have all tents set up on the West side of the taxiway facing the runway and we will keep all fueled aircraft over the grass as much as possible to avoid spills on the new asphalt (repaving project currently under way of the apron area) the repaving activities will not be in progress on Friday and Saturday.

Thanks Jack, Rich and Bob ( hope I didn't leave anyone out) for your hospitality putting on another great event. Marlene and I really enjoyed the weekend. Great weather, friends and place to fly. What more could we ask for?
Loved the pics of your Grandson Rich.
Hope to see many of you at Bob's Fall Classic.

Jim and I had a great time at the event even though I only flew three times with the crosswind and repair to my nose gear. I'm spreading the word for next time and we will be back in force with y guys for the donation fund. Several guys asked about my new 2015 Transit window van; I got 19.5 mpg on the trip and that will get better as she breaks in.

Had a great time hanging out with old friends and making some new friends. Lost my FJ-1 Fury to battery problems, but I will build another one. I need to make some changes on the new one to make it even better. Looking forward to some trips back next year......

Thanks to all that showed up. We all got a lesson in humility, we are guest at most facilities that we fly at and have to take active responcibility in taking care of the facility we are at..... anywhere! All cooperated and we enjoyed a great flying weekend. I got to meet a lot of jet jocks I hadn't met before. It's Monday afternoon, and I didn't expect so many post replies to the event...... looks like I am a little behinderr again. Hope to make Bob's event in a few weeks, we'll have to see waht life has instore for me. Thanks again for all who came and made it fun. Maybe we can all get together somewhere during the winter months for dinner on a Sat night????? Jack

Hi Rich,
I think I left a alllen wrench there, maybe at the active runway where we were starting up. It has three small red, blue and white stripes on it. Save it and I'll get it when I see you next time. I did a load test on my battery and this is what I found. 7.0 volts before I pulled the first test at 200 mah for two minuets. It dropped to 6.9 volts and stayed there. I then did a 500 mah load for two minuets and it dropped to 6.5 volts and stayed there. I don't think it was a battery problem unless one or more servos were giving me a problem. I have already started on a second Fury. All stabilizer ribs and vertical fin ribs are already cut out......
