Fall Edition of the OC-Turbo Fest
Friday Sept 25 through Sunday Sept 27th 2015
It’s that time of year again for the Fall Oil Creek Flyers OC-Turbo Fest.
As usual we will be there on Friday September 25th for anyone wanting to come early with the main day on Saturday Sept 26th.
Location is the Titusville Municipal Airport which is located in beautiful Northwestern Pennsylvania.
Titusville is located equidistant from Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Buffalo
The airport features a 4900 x 75 foot paved runway with generous clear over fly areas.
Jet A is available on site AMA and Turbine waivers are required.
This is a Jet Flyer's event, no noon time shows, just plenty of all out jet flying and having fun with your friends.
Donation is $15.00

Rich, would love to make this one but that thing called work is getting in the way. Already looking forward to next year and the summer edition of OC-Turbo Fest. Had a really great time flying Titusville this year four trips in all, will good weather at all four outings.
As I have said in the past if you have never flow this venue you will not be disappointed in making a trip out to fly the Fall edition of OC-Turbo Fest, besides Jack, Rich and the gang in Titusville would love to have ya.
Robert
Until next year
Oh by the way when is the 2016 jet event sticky going to get going?

The weather is looking stellar!! I think I finally fixed my ability to post to a forum, went back to IE for a browser and it works. Bob Engles tells me he will be there thursday morning to cut grass. I should be there Thurs afternoon late. Camping is usual. Give me a call if younhaven't camped before. Probably no food vendor as of now. Who all is coming?

Just got off the phone with the Airport Director. We may be on the edge of getting booted off the airport. We can NOT spill ANY fuel on any paved surface. So... No pitting of any aircraft or fuel cans on a paved surface. All aircraft must remain on the grass at all times unless running and ready to take the active. We will fuel and start down by the main runway in the start area where we used to do ON THE GRASS. NO TAXI TANKS to the main Runway and then pulled..... they drip fuel, and or the aircraft spits it out when pulled. There can be NO accidents and " I'm Sorry "
It is a reasonable request, and we can not complicate it. It is not for debate, No spilled fuel on the runnway. We need to talk to each other and listen to each other. I am guilty of spills myself! Can not do it anymore... period. It is actually a minor thing to do to keep a great venue.
Bob tells me he will be there Thurs morning and I will be there later Thurs afternoon. Lets have fun and play by the rules! Jack Graham

Jack, we all understand... and I agree. Besides... I know the way we pit... I've had a few engines started pointing in my direction. So... fuel/start by the runway will just take care of any issues with that too.
OK... I'm free, and will be out Friday afternoon sometime. AND... the wife and kids are taking a trip, so I'm planning on staying until Sunday morning.
Rich... Is the terminal available again?
