dave
is the stock cg 115mm a good flying point for the plane over all.

Finally found time to finish this RA scheme version for best buddy Trevor. Weather was better than forecast, so I nipped out for a test flight...24 knot wind in the end, so did not get to fine tune the initial set up and start setting the iGyro, but no trim so far. Timer is set for 7.30 from gear up.

Hello,
I was hoping I could get some help with a couple of questions regarding this plane (which I think is my 'winter project' I have been looking for a smaller easy to transport and setup jet and I think this is the one (plus I couldn't get myself to go with a EPO foam jet ... it just seemed odd)
Turbine will be a P20SX, which from what I've read should be fine for flying from grass (I don't have access to paved runway). P20SX is much easier to purchase and get support here in the USA compared to a Kolibri Lambert T25 or T30.

Is there anyone in the USA who sells this plane? I checked GlobalJetClub and Dreamworks, but they only sell the 2 larger versions. Did I miss someone else?
Can someone tell me the size of the wheels on the mains? Since brakes are required by AMA, I am thinking of possibly installing a set of electric brakes on the mains, but don't know the size of the wheels nor axles.

Thank you very much,

I don't think it's imported by them because of the lack of brake......I would, just talk to Dreamworks they would told you for sure.

Thank you.
I assumed that installing inexpensive electric brakes on the mains, perhaps something like these https://www.turbines-rc.com/en/wheel...-4mm-axle.html would have been the easiest path forward (once I knew the diameter and axle size)
But perhaps I didn't think thru the dubro friction brake ... I haven't used one in almost 30 years ... nice to see they haven't changed anything!

glad it got a great home on pavement.. it didnt like my grass here in ky.. maybe a bit more power and it would have done well but i went with larger plane for my needs.

this is a solid build with kst servos and should last many flights with crisp response. thanks marcus we miss you in ky...

Last weekend saw a couple of our local club members, bring their Mini - X's to our club site. Grass runway, a little on the tight side for jets but had several flights without issue. The second model was bought to the field to set up and test the turbine as it had been bought second hand. It really is a nifty little package!
