I only sent mine in to get a little dirt removed. If you can keep them out of the dirt they will last a long time. who do you think has the highest run time amt.

Id like to get one of the AMT's to stuff in my F14 prototype. Something around 40lbs of blow would be plenty. Im just going to stuff it between the tunnels and run fixed gear w/brakes on it to make sure it flies before i spent $4k on a set of landing gear parts...

A few more years later and I took some holidays over Christmas to get a couple more jets ready to go. Deeper into the AMT train than ever I guess haha. 2 x AMT NL Olympus engines, 2 x AMT NL Pegasus engines and 3 x AMT USA Pegasus'.

There are so many great engines on the market today and I'm thrilled about that so that you guys with old AMT's can buy the new engines and sell me your old AMT's cheap LOL.

Exactly my sentiment - AMT's rule and I refuse to 'give' them away! I rather use mine in preference to any of the new motors around. Never (not sent one back since 1997) has to go back for service and runs perfect all the time.

Currently busy installing a 25kg Olympus HP in a SM F-104.

Cheers,

JanR

Does anyone have an extra AMT USA EDT with the phone jack at the connection laying around or know where I can get one?

Also can the AMT USA 450 run diesel?

Thx in advance for any input

Never seen an edt with anything except a standard futaba servo connector.
as for diesel, no idea. I would contact Bennie at AMT NL and ask him. I believe I saw in the AMT forum that question was asked and it was not recommended.
