If you are not going to fly the model for a while you can bring them down to storage charge. Depends how many models you have and your flying seasons.
I'm sure there are ways around this.
Unless I'm laying an airframe up for a whole season I don't get overly fussed.

Anybody have one of these out in the field and can make a report on it? Would be interested to know how it's doing.

The first delivery is about to go out to dealers, so a little early on questions. RCJi have tested one and got great results (above 220N)

230N, some of the best electronics, fully integrated pump and valves. Lowest running temps seen for this size turbine and slightly larger diameter allows lower rpm and better reliability. If JC have nailed the testing then it's a great looking modern option.....

Can't wait to compare weights/diameter with the other 220's. Hopefully the testing is in their next issue

We have sold a few. The guys say they run great. Notes are 6mm fuel fitting, mounting strap has coated cloth protection/grip.
Optional BMS charge system is shown too. I modify std CAT FOD'd for my customers, two extra notches and fuel hole opened to 6.1mm

Its the 80-180 std one. Bore the 6mm hole through the 3mm (gas line) and then one of the existing notches line up.

Does the engine mount have that bizarre 6mm offset or is it centrally located?

For this price you would think an FOD would be standard

For the colonies, at last check, the price is:

$4472.59

I hope jetcat can really nail the three most important traits of a turbine engine, as it has in the past.

1. Reliability
2. Reliability
3. Reliability

Didn't see an answer to this question so I'll mention that LiPo's are indeed not fond of being left fully charged depending on the specific type of battery. A123/LiFe batteries are quite content to be left at a full charge with a virtually zero self discharge rate.
