Roger that... We actually looked at that issue before we even started the kit.. That's what we thought. But the internet steered us the other way pictures and video's that we we watched all showed them facing in... But you are correct and we did change them to out. The pictures and video's we watched were Rebel's with different gear and were probably earlier kits... Excellent eye my man !!! I was wondering if and who would catch that !! ( Scott did )
Another case and good point : You can't always believe what you see on the internet !! LOL

Do you think it will work are you doing any modifications to the inlet? I saw what happened to the avanti XXL despite being rated to allow a 300N people had to open up intake holes and vents so the turbine could breath.

As for the inlets, I think that would not be possible because of the design. but with the nose gear being left open because we are not doing a nose gear door, this may help with air to the motor. This is a project for my friend, but we are hoping no major changes are needed.

Building is underway, I jumped a head on the instructions and skipped the wings since I didnt feel like cutting stuff tonight. So I put the servos in the stabs and rudder, the stabs are easy and fast, the rudder is tough to get the screws in. I am adding more bling than normal since this jet will be a keeper for a long time, so in bling fashion I added wire loom to my servo wires. I found probably 100+ foot of this stuff about to be thrown away at works, couldnt have that so it made its way home
Be sure and add some thin CA to the servo screw mounts, the blocks on the back side will break loose and your servos screws will strip if not.
Also two videos are uploading on my tube channel, i will work on the video making some I end up blocking the view and have a few crutch phrases lol Cheers!

Yes Sir!
Finally got going today, I had to make a run to bestbuy, harbor freight, and get my hair did! I noticed from my videos I was looking a bit rough LOL
Anyway printed out the templates and just a heads-up print them at 100% and not fit to page. If you don't the templates will be smaller than they are suppose to be. I mention a couple tips in the video and a mod im doing as well, the video is uploading. About to start cutting so stay tuned!

I cut all the openings in the wings and mounted the aileron servos, They have the emcotec style boxes for the servos but depending on your servo u may need to trim, I had to cut about 3 mm on the bottom side of mine for the futabas to fit. I glued the two support squares in with 5 min epoxy, play attention to which u put where! The small block is on the wire side of the servo. Then it was a simple drill and screw on the carbon fiber holding cross member. I hate the G-10 color covers so an easy sexy way to bling them out is with a nice decal!!! Cheers

Yes, before I got the jet I even thought about making a door to cover the wheel but decided to cover the leg instead and leave the wheel open like my Avanti. I am adding a nose gear door instead of just outlining the gear and cutting it out.

I just finished my wings on my project, and I know that you plan on cutting for gear leg covers, but the strut lengths on the Air Tech gear are straighter and longer. It could be how you plan on installing the gear on the gear mounting rails, but notice how close my wheels are to the wing root. I am only 1-1/4" from the root.

Rc yeah I'm using the same, my pattern is good and since I'm make cover for the strut. I did run into a problem, did the back side of your flex mounts hit the air cylinder? When I put the flex plate down on the ply blocks and insert the retract it will not sit flush since the air cylinder is sitting on the flex plate.
