Default Opinion needed on a new product

So I was looking at a new UAT and I thought I would ask for opinions. It says hi-flow but the fittings are no not as big as my usual MAP hi-flow UAT. It would be used with an older P200. I consider it since the UAT can be emptied after flying and easy to see inside for maintenance checks.

Ive heard some pretty good reports about the UAT, and I deal with Intairco alot as they are very well respected here in Aus amongst the Jet Community.

Intairco is a good jet company. It's clear you can see the fuel and it looks like you can service the filter element. I would definitely try one on my jets.

Fantastic product and have installed 2 x large ones (Diamond Kingtech 210, Eurosport Kingtech 210) Small one Rebel 2M (Jets Munt 140) works faultlessly and has the BLING factor. Need to show them off.

you can mount them vertically or horizontally. I use festo as opposed to barb connectors. also options for tow inlets on the larger one for parallel tank setups.

I opted the for the smaller one just for less weight, because the larger one at dreamworks had the two port for twin tank setups. The site listed both as having the same fittings size. My only worry was the smaller inner diameter of the fittings, also are you guys getting the larger one just for more fuel storage?

no reason in particular, bigger turbine bigger trap. I'm sure the smaller trap would work with the larger turbine however. you can blank one of the outlets off with the bigger trap. many options for fittings and placement.

Yeah, my only complant about this trap is the smaller I.D. fittings. Thanks for the info.

Hi FenderBean regarding I.D size being smaller I can't speak for the barbed fittings however, I do know the Festo fittings Intairco uses are high flow with a larger I,D. I have personally seen these UAT being used on engines up to a P-300 with out problem.
I also know of a few twin aircraft with P-140 with out problem.
Intairco are great with communicating with there customers, and I'm sure Intairco will answer your question in detail if you send an Email. You could also check there site which possibly could tell you if the barbs have a larger I.D.

I checked interairco but even with the festos its still limited to tapped hole you attach them to. I think it will be fine, I have a MAP hi-flow I can put in and compare pump voltages between the two.

You wil find that Intairco uses a larger T.D/ I.D fittings as stated above to compensate for this. Intairco did there research when designing there UAT. As stated above I have personally seen large turbines being used with Intairco UAT with no problem. All the best with what ever brand you choose to use.
