The cg it's about 3" from the leading edge.im planning to cut away the cockpit canopy to make a clean line with less air turbulence .

It seems based in Bill Evanīs scimitar designs...

it will fly well as long it has the right setup. (cg, throws, reflex, etc.)

The rear section could be improved for better cooling..

I would also like to see a former ahead the turbine to improve the rigidity of the rudders.

Sebastian I cannot image except, as you will recall, Paul Appelbaum scratch built a small & medium size with very similar outlines that he flew numerous times at R-66.
Anyway hope you will maiden it, along with your beautiful T-33, at Route 66 Jets.....

The jet was originally built by Joe Felonk and almost flown .and now I'm trying to make it fly the structure of the rudders are extremely solid with absolutely no flex or other signs of weakness .

Actually the rudders don't worry me a bit the think which worry me most if the jet going to fly ? And land safe + the f-18 flutter start when the pilot pull high g turn and the negative air pressure cost by long fuselage .

The Gremlin and flying wings in general like a CG about 15% MAC so you will be a bit nose heavy but that should be ok. The biggest we've seen so far is the BFG that Steve Brian built that was 96" wingspan and about 17 pounds

I found in my development of the GremTwin that rudders weren't very effective causing more of a yaw than a turn so it just sort of cause it to crab. Differential thrust was far more effective (which isn't an option for you)

I definitely want to see video!

It is actually an outgrowth of the Duraplane that Eric Henderson, the designer, kept breaking the tail off of (his son's) and based on flying wing slope soarers. Hence the downspout fuselage and EPS wing. It was used for single design combat and publicly introduced at the 1992 NATS and published in the December 1992 RC Modeler

Hey Jim,

i figured you would get a kick out of a BFTPG
Very cool project and I'd love to see video of the maiden too.

Oh yeah. And I mistakenly credited you with the BFG but it was Steve Brian. A small brain cramp I edited. but thanks for pointing it out to me Wayne
