Talked to Esprit and they said they expect shipment any day now as in its imminent. Now I see FCC approval has just started? I have no problem getting the bugs worked out before risking a $11k jet I just would like a little more transparency and credible updates on where the process is. Again if its another 60 days I'm fine with that. I just have a 1:4 scale Hawk here waiting to a radio.

RCgroups post by ZB says they will have a production model in hand for FCC testing in 2 weeks.which then takes 30-60 days to complete. So MAY-June would be my guess

Thanks fellas. I'm running a 16 now and love it. I'm building out a new plane and would love to go straight to the 24 with it to include 900mhz

Guys it take times, I waited over a year for my DC-24 after I put my deposit on one a couple days after that open up......I'm pretty sure it took them over a month just to get the paperwork back from the Feds after certification....if your in a rush get a....16 all the accessories (RX/Sensors) are compatible...

Yeah, but a ds-16 isn't THAT cheap.

But they tend sell well....so some money if not most can be recoup, by selling it later....even a DS-14 could do in the mean time.

Look at what we have been testing, brand new Jeti R3 REX 900MHz is here. After DC-24 update it works like a charm. Next week right after FL Jets we are going to release the new video.

Not quite DS-24 yet, but my yellow Jeti DC-24 with black tray/handle/harness finally made it to US. We are getting closer.

Zb, what is the current status of triple redundancy ... are the Tx and Rx systems able to do double 2.4 and single 900 right now?
Thanks, JS

Do you think it's possible to hold the transmitter in your hand with just a neck strap? Seems to large for that. I see that it's no problem with the DS-16. Just can't get used to the whole tray thing.

Thx in advance.

With shorter DS Sticks I think the DC24 would be suitable as a handheld radio. Ive been flying Jeti DS16 for over 3 years but only recently saw a video of me with radio in hands, it looked tiny,....... I started thinking on the possibility to try a DC24 as a handheld radio.

The hand model in the attachment is Gaspar

Works perfect, we are just shooting video. You will see transition from 2.4GHz to 900MHz with one function running on sequencer. Band switching it's almost instant, I should have the video this Friday.
